Hello Marina,  I have to tell you that I am now corresponding with one Vincas Bundza.  We just might be related.  I have Vincas Karnila to thank for finding him for me.  V. Bundza  corrected my father's birth certificate.  The party that first transliterated it was not Lt. I wrote to Vincas that he should go to the Archives in Vilnius to check the records.  Hope he can.   His surname area is Vilkija - 30 km from Kaunas.   His writing in English is pretty good.  Thanks for all your help.  How was your trip to Lt.  Do you have family in Lt.? I stayed with my cousin and his wife.  The first night I stayed at the Baltic hotel, I believe in Vilnius.  Really a nice hotel.  Nothing elaborate, very plain.  They had a buffet breakfast for everyone.  There was a table of 4 or 5 Chinese people.  They really looked out of place. Never saw any the remainder of my trip.
